ok I'm about to be a little mean so brace yourselves, and understand that is comming from somebody who enjoys...what ever this is becoming.
starting off, i played Ken's, Hiro's and Mark's (have yet to read Gabriel as of making this review), I'm in intrigued with Ken's and Hiro's route which is where Mark's route fails for me, there's a subtlety to the horror and mystery in both panther and fox route that is messed up in the dog's route, which is funny cause clearly Mark's is where the budget went, i loved the change of perspective and mini game that was added in some scenes that helps flesh the VN to a interactive game, however Mark as a character felt interesting at first but falls flat as he is replaced by Simone and Ollie making his route the least focused, i also didn't like Virgil being more of a active antagonist compared to the other routes where he is an omnipresent entity making him mysterious and eldritch like.
As for Ken's and Hiro's i love where this is going curently as both of this stories feel more grounded although Ken's nearly ended up making the same mistakes Mark's route made which is thankfully sidelined by focusing more on Ken, the setting and the events unfolding as you help him with his issues.
Overall my point is the story works best when you are focusing on the characters present, the time period they have to face off, and the horror of (in the case of Ken and Hiro) abuse, racism, trauma and the uncertainty of having a good ending.
alright gave Mark's route a second try with different choices and yeap, everything i complained about was fixed given a few different choices, Mark's route becomes more complex and a lot more in dept with him as a person almost ignoring everything else, and all i had to do was ignore my ex... lol
The story is wonderfully well crafted. The way it’s told, full of detail, I genuinely feel sorry for those who don’t get the chance to read it, and I hope they do at some point in their lives. It’s a feast for anyone who enjoys seeing people interact, make choices you might find unpredictable, and try to understand their motivations, their reasons, what they’re thinking just from the way they act. Every character has their own complexity, and the plots are amazing, told with such simplicity yet each one leaves a deep impact. Having completed only one route, it saddens me that there’s still no ending for Ken, but I imagine it’s getting close. Now more than ever, I want to see the others, and I will, eventually. To suffer for each one, with each one, and in a way that, if not the same, is at least similar to what the protagonist feels. It’s among the best visual novels I’ve ever played. Congratulations.
I've absolutely fallen in love with this VN. The moral dillemas these characters go through are what I live for! Lmao
Mark in particular is such a fascinating character to me, and arguably my favorite because of all the complexities behind his personality.
It's incredibly bold to write such a polarizing character like him, especially with how alienating it can be for people. I understand how off-putting he can be for some, but it's exactly because of this that I'm so interested in him at the same time. I definitely respect making such unconventional and controversial topics like that.
I just love how this VN challenges the player to sympathize with a character like that, and I'm wondering if his fate is ultimately decided based on if you can find it in your heart to forgive. Just speculating, of course.
I personally view Mark as someone who ultimately deserves to be loved, and that he should be given the chance at redemption, so to speak. Too soon to say how his story will conclude, but I really do hope it will end with hope over tragedy, or at least the possibility for it.
Regardless, this has been one of the most emotionally engaging VNs I've read in a long time so far, and I'm looking forward to seeing it through to the end~
I keep listening to the track 'Sink or Swim', from Gabe's Day 4, I love it. Some bits of it actually make me think of 'Worlds Collide' from Final Fantasy 13-2, was it intentional inspiration?

I'd be very surprised if we can't have sex Etiene. Probably gonna add it later. Every other route has more than one romance option. The only other thing slight possibly Etiene is a red herring. I mean we assume its him, but it hasn't been confirmed. Like how the keep hinting at Grey and the owl (I can't remember his name right now) having history.
Not gonna lie I was little disappointed with the Gabriel update. I was just hoping we'd get more content, feels like barely anything changed since the last Gabriel it just felt barely anything moved along in that route. But whatever I'll take what I can get. I was hoping for Etiene romance or at least learn a lot more about him.
My guess is, we probably could get on with Ett in Gabe's route, since he also became prominent in that route... I mean if the bed scene in the cells isn't such a big clue, I don't even know what is...
Remember in Ken's route when Jean went to meet Virgil after going by Grey's apartment? Then he was sent into "the game." Also in Mark's route Simone got sent there. I'm thinking this is the same thing for Gabe's route, because remember Charles I think it was that was hunting down Et or something like that? If I'm not mistaken, but he's getting sent into Hiro's. I'm sooo excited for some Et sex! ;) Ahahah him and Ken are my absolute favs! <3

dude the confrontation, the tapes, michelle and jean bond, and also the bed scene where ken is saying its because of us...like im actually sobbing hello??? the pool scene was also so beautiful and so real...this touched, pulled, and ripped my heart strings omg. i love this route...gabes route is nostalgic while ken route is so..idk a good word for it ill come back to this. Hiro route is nice as well but these two are something else man. such a beautiful and welldone VN. surely nothing bad will happen after this bed scene right haha!! surely..the bad being him bottoming with no option of us being able to...its okay tho still love the VN (i say with a tear falling down my cheek). kind of reminds me of lkyt such good story and world but top only..ik in mark route u can pick but im not interested in mark at all..hes boring to me (before anyone says).
mark just as a character isnt really interesting to me both appearance and story wise imo, when this game first released i just couldn't get into him even when i did go back and try his route again. ken and gabe routes are more interesting to me (mostly ken) so i really just play their updates. maybe cause mark is on the older side and thats just not what im into. but i mean of course the nsfw content isnt really what im playing for and its just a plus, so it doesnt matter cause i still love the story. for example, i play through hiro route with nsfw content off because their story is also just that interesting to me. it was only a light vent tho cause im kinda sad how every time i get really interested in a character theres never any choices to be a sub for them most times (atleast in the ones with very good stories such as this). hopefully u didnt take that as a way of bashing u or anything!! its ur story and im just the reader <3.
Well, actually Hiro's route I enjoyed the deer's side of it. You can bottom for him, no?? And you can also bottom for jessi in ken's route if you go the rub club side! I'm suuuuper excited to see where we go with Etienne in Gabe's route. He's sooooo fine! And SUCH a dom top. The bed scene was beautiful, so was Gabe's I just ugh! I really do love this VN altogether hahah! Even though Hiro isn't my cup to ftea, it was still beautiful, and of course there's plenty of peens to go around in his route too hehe! :p

Yeah... My guess is that the fragments didn't come in order, so the 39th maybe available in next update of any of the route. Or! It just such a bitch to get...
It's unobtainable thus far. Someone in the discord told me it was a bug, and I'm inclined to believe it. I've chosen every option possible and was never able to unlock it.
