I just wanted to ask, does anybody know the music that plays when you're in the Golden Place, I have been looking for a while and I cannot find it. (I accidentally posted this in the dev log)
Just read this recently because a friend did recommend to me, picked a route (Ken) and I'm in love with the writing already! The story keeps me engaged and I can't wait to try the other route. Really can't wait for Ken's story update!
Genuinely one of the best vns out there, if not the best. I've never read a more heart wrenching toxic relationship where you as a reader feel trapped between the morality of both parties involved. In short I loved mark's update a lot xoxo ❤️

One of the best VNs I've read yet! I really like all of the main characters (yes, even Ken) and they have so much depth to them. I like the writing balance of disturbing themes and comedic moments, helps keep the stories engaging and grounded. Of course, from the sexy times to the darker imagery, Nikko's art is fantastic all the way through. Overall, this is a great VN, y'all did a great job and I can't wait for future updates!
Side note (MILD SPOILERS):
Really loved how accurate y'all portrayed 80's Los Angeles. As a native Angeleno who grew up in that exact type of environment, I really appreciate the fact that y'all did your homework.

Damn. I downloaded this game today and I'm already hooked on the story and characters! I'm currently doing the Ken Storyline and I love how emotional but also hot it is at times. I've always found your artstyle to be one of the best but also the quality of this game is amazing. The sounds in the background are done really well and let's you dive deeper into the game. When I have reached a certain point in a game, where I get kinda depressed and really emotional for the game or the characters not being real, that's when you've made a really incredible game!!! Big applause to you, my friend. Keep up the great work ^^
Ken!! We want Ken and Mark route to continue, but more specifically Ken's. The game is really good, I loved it, but I have to admit I went crazy when "continue" appeared in Ken route.

So um... yeah, this game was amazing! Probably the best I've played in a long time (Including the copious amounts of copy and paste studio games). And if you're sensing a but, you'd be right. This game had some of the greatest story telling I've seen, and that's why I have a "but".
(Just know that I'm not saying I didn't know about all the content warnings going into it. I thought I was used to it, but I was in fact... not...)
Simply put, the writing was too good. To the point it brought back some stuff that was not so fun revisiting. (Played Gabes route btw, because he's far too precious for words)
Usually it's fun seeing yourself in some of the characters, and I never had a problem with other games depictions of "you know what". But seeing myself in these characters was a mistake, and it hit hard when I reached the end. (I'm still surprised at how visceral it got!?? It either came from experience, which I really hope not, but sorry if that's the case. OR, you did EXTENSIVE research on it, cause you nailed it to a worrisome degree.)
I can't wait to see more, even with the whole resurfaced trauma and stuff. In fact, it's the fact that it was even able to accomplish that that makes me more. It's scary good, and I'm hopefully ready to try the other routes.
okay finished all 4 routes and i could cry for few hours just beacuse of how beautifull and unique each of them were (my fav were mark and gabe suprisingly) so yeah i recommend this game a lot

I had no way of knowing they knew each other. It wasn't listed in the guys game description and I don't follow either of thier social media. How in gods name would I have figured out they knew each other?
Maybe perhaps, i don't know, simply ask? Politely? I mean, i hate people who steal other people jobs but if the developer is using content from another person, either he know that developer, he asked for permission or he stole it, and oh surprise you obviously have no way to know which one and simply assumed it.
Yeah but thats what happens when you try to do the right thing. People lose thier minds, and resort to petty insults, and attack you for it. Next time I see something suspicious happening I'm leaving it a alone its thier problem to figure it out.
Having no way of knowing it was sanctioned also means having no way of knowing it wasn't. Which also isn't true, because, you know, you could've used this amazing secret technique known as "asking." It's a far better approach than being a cop.
I know you're trying to apologize, but it doesn't seem like you understand that jumping to accusations was the problem, not you simply being factually wrong.
And that's forgetting the fact that it's very obviously a fan game.
When I posted the link i figured he would say why is that guy using my stuff or say something like it's okay I gave him permission. Something to that effect. It was my way of asking. But now thinking back. I should been a bit more straight forward. That was my mistake. Well what's done is done. All I can do is say sorry and that I'll be more careful next time something like this happens. That's all I can do.
Comments like these are the reason I stopped supporting this novel... though I admit, this is rather tame compared to the majority of his actions in his own server.
Hello, it is I, the plagiarist. I (and a few of Nikko's other friends) made this game as a gift for Nikko to celebrate the first anniversary of Burrows. It is not a copy, it is a fan game that uses the same characters, but takes place in a different universe. Nikko himself drew the thumbnail for the game, which is likely why they look so similar.
My apologies i thought it was somone stealing his work. Unfortunately that is not uncommon nowadays. I thought you were using it without his permission. I am sorry for the misunderstanding.
My thought process was I would be upset if somone used something I made without my permission I'd be upset but you had his permission. So it's okay, again sorry for the misunderstanding.

Best Visual Novel ever if I didn't stop typing I'd be writing paragraphs so here's some bullet points for anyone looking to pick it up
- Amazing soundtrack
- Amazing artwork and unique anthro character designs (Fucking love our MC being a possum)
